Purcell Public Schools Announces Addition of Soccer for 9th-12th Grade in 2023-2024 School Year Purcell, OK – Purcell Public Schools is excited to announce the addition of soccer for 9th-12th grade students starting in the 2023-2024 school year. This will be the inaugural year for the sport at Purcell Public Schools, and we are eager to introduce the program to our students and community. As Superintendent of Purcell Public Schools, I am thrilled to introduce this new opportunity for our students. Soccer is a beloved sport worldwide, and we believe it will be a great addition to our athletics program here at Purcell Public Schools. We are committed to providing diverse opportunities for our students to grow, learn, and excel both academically and athletically. Our goal is to prepare them for success in their future endeavors, and the addition of soccer is one more step in that direction. I am grateful to the Purcell Public Schools Board of Education and administration for their leadership and vision in supporting this new initiative. I also extend my sincere appreciation to our coaches and staff who have worked tirelessly to make this happen. We look forward to seeing our students and community come together to support our inaugural soccer season in 2023-2024 and beyond! Go Dragons!

Jackie Suchy named Purcell Public Schools Support Person of the Year I am excited to announce that Jackie Suchy, Purcell Elementary School Secretary, has been selected as the Support Person of the Year for Purcell Public Schools! Jackie began working for Purcell PS in 1990 and has been going strong ever since. Thanks to her sweet granddaughter, Markee, Jacks, for her help in surprising Jackie today. As the superintendent, I have had the pleasure of working with Jackie for several years. In that time, I have come to know her as a dedicated and hardworking individual who always goes above and beyond in her duties. She is an essential member of our team and has an unwavering commitment to making our schools the best they can be. Jackie consistently demonstrates outstanding customer service skills and a willingness to help others. She is always accessible, friendly and helpful with students, teachers, staff, and parents. Her positive attitude and enthusiasm for her work are contagious, making everyone feel welcome. Through Jackie's hard work and dedication, Purcell Elementary School runs like a well-oiled machine. Her attention to detail helps ensure that our students receive the best possible education, and her efforts have contributed to the overall success of our school district. On behalf of the Purcell Public Schools community, I want to congratulate Jackie on being named our Support Person of the Year. Thank you for all that you do for our students, staff, and families. You are truly an exceptional individual who deserves this recognition and more.
