Dear Parent or Guardian, Purcell Public Schools has partnered with Varsity Tutors for Schools to provide your student with unlimited access to additional learning tools through the Varsity Tutors for Schools platform through June 2028. Varsity Tutors for Schools is the most comprehensive suite of live, online tutoring resources. Your student will be able to engage with resources to help support them through their learning journey. Tutoring is available in both English and Spanish. The following resources are available through access to the Varsity Tutors for Schools platform: 24/7 On-Demand Chat Tutoring On-Demand Essay Review Live Enrichment Classes SAT and ACT Test Prep Classes Celebrity-Led StarCourse Classes Self-Study Resources College & Career Readiness Resources Adaptive Assessments & Personalized Learning Plans Recorded Enrichment Classes Students can access Varsity Tutors from their district-issued device through their Purcell Clever account. Students and parents can also access Clever at purcellps.org by selecting the Student Learning page from the menu. Students log into Clever using their Purcell Google account. If you have a PK-2nd student, you can contact their teacher for a Clever Badge to log in. We are excited to offer these free services for your student this school year! Athletic schedule changes due to weather. Baseball-All games cancelled. Soccer-Girls @4, Boys @5:30, NO JV Boys Game Games will be played at Oklahoma Baptist University tonight.

Purcell's JOM Program will host a meeting on March 6 in the administration building, 919 1/2 N. 9th. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. in room 110. Agenda includes election of an Indian Parent Committee Chair and discussion of spring activities. Meetings are open to the public.

Day 1 of Area is tonight for our Lady Dragons. They will face the Bristow Lady Pirates in Okmulgee, at the Mvskoke Dome, starting at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased on GoFan or at the gate. The game will not be streamed tonight. GO DRAGONS!

Purcell Public Schools is partnering with Norman Regional Health System and Norman Regional Health Foundation to provide Norman Regional KIDS Virtual Care. This program has equipped Purcell Elementary, Purcell Intermediate, and Purcell Junior High with technology that allows your child to be seen by a health provider for a virtual appointment during school hours. Common conditions that can be treated through a virtual visit: Ear infections, sore throats, pink eye, flu, sinus infections, upper respiratory infections, allergic rhinitis, asthma flare-ups, and skin rashes. This program is a great resource for the community but the program is not intended to replace your child's Primary Care Physician. We encourage you to follow up with your PCP and continue regular well-visits to ensure your child's growth, development and health are a top priority. Tomorrow, our soccer teams travel to Noble for the Ice Breaker Scrimmage Festival. Our girls start at 8AM with our boys starting their first scrimmage of the day at 8:50 AM. Attached is the full scrimmage schedule along with the parking map for Noble. Also attached is the updated soccer schedule for the year.
