Our Healthcorp reps hosted our Wheel of Fitness today during lunch. Students spun the wheel, completed an exercise, and received a healthy snack. Addie Godkins and Presley Hayes are our reps this year and do a great job helping build healthy habits amongst our teenagers. Addie teaches weekly lessons as part of our new Freshman Leadership program. Freshman leadership is taught by PHS teacher Bryan Young. It was great seeing so many students participate.

What a huge accomplishment for our FFA Program this week at the State Opening and Closing Ceremonies Contest in Stillwater. Our team was 1 of 2 teams selected out of our Preliminary heat to compete in the final 8 out of 50 teams. They fell a little short in the finals, but we couldn’t be more proud of this group for how well they performed. Additionally freshman Justus Fulbright was 1 of 50 students to qualify for the State FFA Greenhand Quiz contest. These achievements and the growth of this program reflects the hard work of these students and the leadership of Erica Keen.
