Purcell High School seniors Kate Ginn, Ellie Feroli, and Parker Page spoke at Rotary Club yesterday. Thank you to Rotary for giving students this opportunity. Students gain valuable leadership and networking skills through these experiences.


Boys basketball fell today to Chickasha 36-32 in the second day of the regional tournament. We are so incredibly proud of the growth, effort, and overall toughness of this team. Great job boys on a tremendous year. Great job Coach Lohn and Coach Wollenberg. Your leadership is impeccable, and we appreciate all the work that you have put in this season. Go Dragons!

Great day for Dragons Basketball. We go into the McLoud for day 1 of regionals, and leave 2-0!
Boys started the day facing off with McLoud and winning a very tight game, 56-53. The Dragons will continue with the second day of regionals tomorrow at Douglass High School. Tomorrow's game will tip off at 2:30. Huge congratulations to Coach Lohn, Coach Wollenberg, and our boys basketball team for the big win today. Make sure to make the trip to Douglass tomorrow to cheer our boys on!
Girls played a physical game with McLoud and pulled away to win 60-51. The girls will play in the regional championship on Saturday. That game will be played at Douglass High School at 6pm. Congratulations to Coach Cooper, Coach Clay, and our girls basketball team for the win tonight. Come out Saturday to cheer our girls on as they compete for a regional championship.

Purcell FFA hosted its annual Bonus Auction Monday night. If you've never had a chance to attend this event, I strongly urge you to go next year. It's one of my favorite events to attend each year. The hard work and dedication of our students never ceases to amaze me. A huge thanks to our community for supporting this great program. Purcell Soccer kicked off the season with the Noble Icebreaker Festival which was co-hosted at Conger Field. Both squads are looking to make big strides in their second season. The boys are coached by Diego De Leon and the girls by Andrea Kulessa. Trent Tresler serves as an assistant for both teams. Both teams begin the regular season Saturday, March 1st vs. Tuttle at Conger Field.

Dragon Vocal Music Students Excel @ District Competition
Our PHS Vocal Music students presented their solos at the OSSAA District Vocal Music competition at East Central University on Friday:
McKenna Martin (Excellent), Yamilet Hernandez (Superior), Genesis Guerra (Superior), Frankie Linker (Superior), Alyssa Godwin (Excellent), Kenzie Fulton (Good) and Kamdyn Snow (Superior).
Four students received invites to proceed to the State Contest with their solo: Yamilet Hernandez, Genesis Guerra, Frankie Linker and Kamdyn Snow.
