Purcell High School February Athletes of the Month: Kamdyn Stokes and Seth Bunch
Kamdyn is the daughter of Kelly and Garret Romesburg and Gary and Katherine Stokes. Kamdyn participates in softball, powerlifting, and track at Purcell High School. Kamdyn has honors that includes being named to the Superintendent's Honor Roll, is a member of the fast pitch state runner up team, and just recently took 5th at the state powerlifting meet. Kamdyn's favorite class is Mr. Young's Leadership class. Kamdyn would like to attend the University of Oklahoma, participating in track.
Seth Bunch is the son of Justin and Sheree Bunch. Seth is a member of the boys basketball team. Seth is also involved in National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Seth's favorite class is Lifetime Nutrition with Mrs. Renfro. His plans after graduation is to attend college.

Tomorrow is day one of the basketball area tournament. There has been a location change due to the recent weather. The entire area tournament will be played at Chickasha High School. The location of the games is the ONLY change to the bracket. All times have stayed the same.
Please reference the parking map for Chickasha High School. All spectator parking is in the purple parking lot. Live stream is available tomorrow. Scan the attached QR code. Also, this is a reminder that the expectation is all attending fans keep their actions positive throughout the entire course of the game. Let's cheer on our Lady Dragons to victory!

Congratulations Band State Qualifiers from the OSSAA District Solo/Ensemble competition this past Saturday at Norman High. Congratulations to these talented students and instructors David Hilger & Jacob Willing. They will perform at the state competition at OSU in April.

Purcell Tennis returns to the courts❗️❕❗️
The Purcell High School Tennis teams traveled to Ada and played their first matches of the 2025 season starting with the Byng Tournament. 🎾 #1 Double seniors Kaleb Bailey and Alec Thompson won their last match 6-1 ,6,3. #2 Double underclassmen Aidan Blankenship and Eli Gracey won their second match 6-0, 6-0 to make it to the Consolation Championship. #2 Singles freshman Aidan Brown won his last match 6-4, 6-4. We competed against opponents from Pauls Valley, Byng, Piedmont, Ada, Seminole, Pathways, The Academy, and Tulsa Union.

Lady Dragons defeat Christo Rey in their home opener!! The Lady Dragon defense held Christo Rey to 1 goal while the offense put two balls in the net to win 2-1! Way to go Purcell Soccer!

Triple header of games to start the soccer season today at Conger. First, the JV Boys will take on Cristo Rey at 3:30. Varsity girls will also play Cristo Rey, starting at 5pm. Final game of the night will be our varsity boys taking on Tuttle at 7pm. Our soccer athletes have been working really hard this offseason, and would love for you to show your support as they open up their season. Go Dragons!
