We’re proud to share that our Dragons competed at Regionals in Waurika, OK this past Saturday!
Jayden Polk finished 3rd overall with an outstanding time of 16:27.
Belen Resendiz placed 39th in the girls’ race with a strong time of 14:17.
Both runners have qualified for the State Meet next Saturday at North Rock Creek!

Our Dragon Pride Marching Band wrapped up their competitive marching season last week. We are extremely proud of all their hard work and dedication. We are also thankful for the outstanding leadership from our Band Director David Hilger and Assistant Director and JH Director Jacob Willing. We are also grateful for the outstanding support of our Band Booster and parents. I'm sharing a season recap and thanks from Mr. Hilger:

It seems like it was just yesterday that we had our first rehearsal in mid-July!
These young adults have put in many, many hours of work in all types of weather and all times of the day! The growth of this group has been fun to watch as an educator and as a fan!
We want to send a special thank you to our Administration! The support we have as a a band program is amazing! Always checking in on us…making sure we have everything we need & coming to our contests on the weekends…not only to watch and support…but also to help move equipment!
And a huge thank you to our Band Parents/Guardians and all of our fans! We couldn’t do what we do without you! From keeping your kids rested/fed to getting them to early morning and late night rehearsals! And our contest campsite…no words!!
We also would like to thank the Alumni band members that helped us this year in multiple ways!
We hope your are able to come show your support for our Band Seniors and the rest of the Dragon Pride as we perform our show “…for all mankind” one last time at half-time on Friday, October 31st at Conger Field!

Kirk Rushing will be on campus Nov. 3 & 4 to help seniors with FAFSA. Email or go see Ms. Feroli to make appointment. Before that appointment, students and one parent need to create an FSA ID, which can be done by creating an account at studentaid.gov.
