The PHS and PJHS Music Theater program presents "Little Women" this Saturday, December 2nd at the Old Junior High Auditorium. Performances are at 2 PM and 7 PM. Admission is $5 for adults and free for school employees and students. Please support our choir and theater program.

There are several major rule changes this year for basketball.
There is no more 1 and 1 bonus free throws. All bonus free throws are now 2 shots.
Team bonus now starts at the 5th foul per quarter. Each quarter, team fouls reset. Scoreboard will only show max of 5 fouls per quarter.
Again these are big changes for basketball. Please be patient with coaches, scoreboard operators, and officials.

Congratulations Dragon Football for an amazing season. Dragons finish the season 9-3 overall and advance to the 2nd Round of the playoffs. We are extremely proud of all the players and a special thanks to our seniors. We also thank our coaches for their hard work, leadership, and dedication: Aaron Dillard, Brian McCalip, Peyton Broome, Cole Sharp, Camden Patterson, Cole Harwell, Marc Peters, and Ethan Scott. Thanks as well to our managers, cheer squad, and band for your support of Dragon football throughout the season. We also appreciate the Mama Dragons and Dragon Fire Booster club for their hard work on behalf of Dragon Football. Finally thank you to all the fans for coming out and cheering for Dragon Football this season!





Purcell Dragon Rocket League is now ranked #5 in the state after defeating #3 Tonkawa. The team consists of Aidan Blankenship, Rafael Gutierrez, and Keegan Featherston. The team is now 6-2 on the year and qualified for the state playoffs!! Great job Dragon Esports! #phsdragons

Tomorrow, our Dragons travel to Millwood for Round 2 of the OSSAA Playoffs.
The parking map is attached. Gates will open at 6 pm. Kickoff is at 7pm.
There will NOT be a cash option at Millwood. ALL tickets will need to be purchased through GoFan. Please use the attached QR code to purchase your tickets. (Please help us get the word out that all tickets must be purchased via GoFan)
The game will be streamed tomorrow night if you can not make the game. It will be streamed through Youtube. The Youtube channel is called PPBC TV. You can also download the PPBC TV app, if you want to watch it on your phone.

Noah Gracey placed 1st in Top Scorers in our Academic Team Conference for the 23-24 season. With an average of 40 points a quarter, and 730 points total throughout the regular season. Noah is also chair of the Principal's Student Advisory Council and the starting kicker on the football team. #phsdragons


Dragon alums achieving success: Brodrick Smith (PHS Class of "22) was recently named to the KCAC All-Conference 2nd Team. Brodrick is the punter for Tabor College. Brodrick also tied the school record for most punts downed inside the 10 yard line. Way to go Brodrick! #phsdragons

The Splatoon team will play Pontotoc High School from Mississippi. The Splatoon team in line for their 4th win this season. Super Smash Bros will face off against Chickasha. PHS Rocket League team faces Tonkawa. They've locked in a playoff spot for the postseason. #phsdragons


Erica Keen's report from last weeks speech contest:
We spent the evening at the AFR Central District Speech Contest. I am super proud of this entire group for the work they have put in and getting out of their comfort zones. At this contest, they have to give their speeches in front of their peers. Haley & Carli we’re both 2nd in their divisions and qualified for state. Brody was 3rd, Kyleigh was 4th and Hudson was 5th.

Purcell FFA had several attend the Kellyville swine showmanship clinic yesterday . It was a great day of learning and we even had two reserve champions in their divisions. Congratulations Kylee Barrett and Kaden Pliler!
