
Semester Test Week is next week. See schedule below. Testing begins Wednesday December 13th. Please review handbook for semester test exemption policy. Teachers will submit exemption list at the end of the day Monday, December 11th.


Tomorrow night at 5:30, we will be having our parent meeting for both boys and girls soccer. Come out and meet our coaches and get information as we start the season of team #1 of Purcell Soccer.


Congratulations Karlee Tolle: PHS Student of the Month. (Karlee is pictured on the left). Karlee is the daughter of Mike and Amy Tolle. She is active in Tennis, a NHS officer, STUCO officer, and FCA. Karlee is a Letter P Award winner, member of Superintendent's Honor Roll, and a State Qualifier in Tennis. Her favorite class is Calculus with Michael O'Neal. She plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University and pursue a degree in radiologic technology. #phsdragons


Congratulations Alyssa Thompson: PHS Student of the Month. (Alyssa is pictured on the right). Alyssa is the daughter of Kim & Barry Thompson. She is active in Basketball, NHS, a STUCO officer and FCA. She is a Letter P Award Winner, member of the Superintendent's Honor Roll and Oklahoma Honor Society. Alyssa's favorite class is Calculus with Michael O'Neal. She plans to attend college, major in education, and teach elementary school (we love to hear this!) #phsdragons

Thank you Purcell Schools Music Theater, Choir, and Music programs for their performance of "Little Women, A Merry Christmas". This included students from PHS, Purcell Junior High, and Intermediate School. Great job students and instructor Cindy Donaldson. #phsdragons





Dragon Esports won their first playoff round against Tonkawa. The match was played in a best-of-seven format, and Purcell secured the victory with a score of 4-3. Dragons are gearing up for the next playoff round against Astec Charter School Comets, scheduled for next Tuesday.




Varsity basketball continues the start of their season at the Madill Tournament next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Girls play at 4 and boys play at 5:30 on Thursday.



Final Scores from PV in the 2023 Jack Dallas Grimmett Freshman Classic: Dragons placed third with a big win against Washington 51-21. Lady Dragons are your tournament CHAMPIONS with a win over the Lady Panthers 36-32! Congratulations to all players and coaches!



We are getting ready to present Little Women: A Merry Christmas. Performances at 2pm and 7pm today. Doors open 15 minutes prior. $5 admission for adults. Students are free.





PHS and PJHS presents "Little Women" at 2PM and 7PM today at the old Junior High Auditorium. Come out and enjoy a holiday evening or matinee and support a great program.


Congratulations to PHS Lady Dragons. They open their season win a 66-47 win on the road vs. Lindsay. Should be a fun season for this group! The boys lost a tight one 42-41. It was a hard-fought game and it will be exciting to watch this young and talented group grow!

Final from Pauls Valley 9th grade basketball tournament. Girls beat Ada 16-7 and advance to the tournament championship on Saturday at 2. Boys fall to Pauls Valley 27-25. The boys play for 3rd place at 1 on Saturday.
