Thank you April Trumbo and National Honor Society students for organizing such an amazing tribute to our Veterans yesterday. I will include more detailed thanks to all who participated in my parent newsletter. A very special thanks to Brigadier General (ret.) Jon Harrison, PHS Class of 1984. General Harrison delivered powerful and timely remarks about the value of service and the strength of the diversity of our nation. #phsdragons

Dragons giving back. Our boys choir students were in need of new dress clothes for upcoming performances. We needed $500 to purchase the necessary clothes (see pic). Mayra Munoz, PHS Spanish teacher, heard about the need, and Spanish Club paid for the new clothes. Ms. Munoz will not like this recognition. Because that's just the way she is. However this is just one of many examples of Spanish Club, Mayra Munoz, and her students stepping up to help out others.
