Students and parents can also access Clever at purcellps.org by selecting the Student Learning page from the menu. Students log into Clever using their Purcell Google account. Congratulations to 3rd Grade Teacher, Kaitlyn Austin, for being selected as the 2023-24 Rookie Teacher of the Year. Kaitlyn is in her 2nd year of teaching. She is a strong leader on the 3rd grade team/building. Kaitlyn displays a growth mindset and actively works with experienced teachers to improve her practice.

Watching David Hilger be recognized by the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce as Purcell Educator of the Year was a tremendous honor. Mr. Hilger does many essential tasks in our District as part of the Technology Department that impact us daily.
However, where he excels and has for many years is as an outstanding Band Director.
David has accumulated incredible accolades over the years, most of which are all at Purcell PS. He is recognized statewide as one of the best, and we are fortunate to have David on our team. Congratulations to David on this incredible recognition and honor. We are so proud of you!

May 6th - 10th is Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so thankful to our teachers for helping our students find the things they are good at and support them when learning something new. It's that patience and perseverance that sets our Purcell teachers apart from the rest. There are so many ways that we can show our appreciation; a kind note from a student, high five, or even a smile.

May 8th is physicals day for 2024-2025 school year. It will be in the high school commons. High school will start at 2:30 and junior high will start at 3:15. Please have your student pick up a blank form in the office, and have it filled out before the examination. Cost is $10.
