Dear Parents/Guardians,
Purcell Public Schools is pleased to provide our students and community with a Summer Feeding Program again this year. This program is open to children ages 0-18 years of age. You do not have to be a Purcell PS student to take advantage of this program.
Summer Feeding will begin on Tuesday, May 22nd and continue through July 28th. Meals this year must be consumed on site at Purcell Elementary through July and at Purcell High School through June 22nd except for those delivered to Southway Mobile Home Park.
We will also provide an option for meal delivery at Southway Mobile Home Park located at 3 Elliot Drive Purcell, OK each Tuesday (May 23 & 30, June 6,13, 20, &27 and July 5 (Wednesday), 11, 18, & 25 from 10:30 am-11:30 am. Anyone is welcome to pick up meals, you do not have to be a resident of Southway. These meals will be packaged for
five (5) days worth of breakfasts and lunches.

Breakfast: 7:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M.
Lunch: 11:00 A.M. -1:00 P.M.
● Purcell High School Cafeteria- May 22nd-June 22nd (M-F)
Breakfast: 8:00 A.M.-9:30 A.M.
Lunch: 11:00 A.M. -12:30 P.M.
● Southway Mobile Home Park (10:30 A.M.-11:30 A.M.)

(Please note July 5th (Wednesday) as pick up day due to the Fourth of July
Holiday)
Students who are attending Summer School will be able to eat both breakfast and lunch at the schools and will not be eligible for meal pickup at Southway while Summer School is in session (June 5th- 22nd). I strongly encourage families to take advantage of the Summer Feeding Program. It is great for our students and community as a way to fight
childhood hunger. It also benefits the schools. Please plan to take advantage of this opportunity!



We finished our Pickleball Unit in PE with a little friendly competition! These students were named Pickleball Champs in their home rooms. Way to go, Dragons! 🏆🏓🥇🎉🐉


This morning during our Dragon assembly, we recognized two outstanding fifth graders! Brynlee Maxwell Shephard and Blane Nicklas were named Student of the Year 2022-2023 for their outstanding academic excellence, character, leadership, and citizenship! 🐉🥳Congratulations Brynlee & Blane!!! #dragonpride



Our Senior Dragons walked the halls of Purcell Intermediate one last time before graduation! We wish you all the best, Seniors!!! ❤️🐉🎉📚✏️

We are so excited to have the incoming third graders at the intermediate next year! They came over Tuesday and took a tour of our building! Student Council members led them through the halls and showed them all the classes they might have next year! It was an exciting experience and we are looking forward to having our new dragons at Purcell Intermediate! 🐉

Our last unit in PE is Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the United States! We've practiced hand-eye coordination, cooperation, teamwork, and socialization. It's a great way to have fun with family and friends while getting in some physical activity! We played a single elimination tournament in 4th and 5th grades during A-Day rotation times.

⭐️4TH GRADE - MATH HALL OF FAMERS⭐️
The 4th graders participated in Math Hall of Fame this school year. There are 10 math sheets that they must master 3x each, in under 5 minutes to be inducted into the math hall of fame! The lists range from 100 addition/subtraction problems to 90 division problems.
Congratulations 4th grade Math Hall of Famers! We are so, so proud of your hard work in math.
