Yesterday we celebrated our March Madness Step Challenge winners by taking them to the Heart of Oklahoma baseball tournament! We watched our high school Dragons defeat Little Axe 12-2. Our Intermediate Dragons cheered their hearts out and sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!" Thank you to the Dragon Fire Booster Club for treating us to popcorn, cookie, and a drink! It was an incredible experience they will remember for years to come!

In PE we had our first harvest from our tower garden! Thank you, Healthy Schools Oklahoma, for providing this learning opportunity for our students! We are growing tomatoes, cilantro, sweet basil, green peppers, lettuce, rainbow chard, and bok choy. 4th graders, Maria Reyes, Kallie Melvin, Olivia Elledge, Ali Jones, and Amora Parks have been checking the PH balance of the water and adding mineral blends each week for optimum growth. Now it's time to taste it! #hsok #oklaed #perocks #towergarden
