Hard to believe but the end of the year is approaching and it's a busy calendar for PHS. Please see our end of year event schedule beginning with Junior/Senior Prom and ending with our Graduation on May 17th. It's a busy but important time of year!

The Purcell FFA and 4H students would like to invite everyone out to the 34th Annual Purcell Local Livestock Show and Bonus Auction. It is a great opportunity to see these students’ projects and all the work they have been putting into their animals this year.

The first Purcell High School Soccer Schedule is complete! We are hosting our own preseason scrimmage festival on February 17th, and our home opener is March 1st. Come out and see our soccer teams this year!

Soccer season is approaching and it is time to make HISTORY! Saturday, February 17th, the very first boys and girls soccer teams hit the turf and will be in action at Conger! The scrimmage festival will start at 9:00 am. Games will be streamed via NFHS! GO DRAGONS!



PHS Teacher Jenny Allen-Price conducted mock interviews with her students as part of our ongoing efforts to build our PHS Transition Program. PHS Transitions supports students with the all-important transition from high school to college & career readiness. This opportunity provided students real-world experiences with the "soft-skills" that all people need in the modern workforce. Well done Jenny!

The basketball playoff information has been released. The Dragons will open the playoffs at Bridge Creek on Saturday, February 17th. Girls will play at 6 and boys will play at 7:30. All games will be streamed on NFHS.

PHS CHEER deserve special recognition for the amazing job this team has done this year. A special thanks to our senior cheerleaders Gracie Pruitt, Allison Pendley, Camdyn Frankenberg, Parker Goldston, and Payci Constant for their leadership. A big thanks to coaches Grant Gish & April Trumbo for their hard work with this program.
Last week they conducted a highly successful Lil Cheer camp with over 110 campers attending and ending with a great Barbie themed performance at our recent senior night basketball games. Well done.





Katy Keith Awarded $2500 Scholarship
Senior PHS tennis player Katy Keith was honored this week at the UTSA banquet in Oklahoma City with the Wayne Hirst Scholarship. Congratulations Katy for this well deserved honor!
