
CAC High School Leadership Conference is a three-day adventure into leadership for high school juniors from around the nation, held annually at the University of Oklahoma. HSLC aims to equip, empower and inspire high school juniors to return to their communities and make a positive impact.

Congratulations to PHS Seniors Gracie Pruitt & Karlee Tollee. They were recently honored and awarded scholarships at the REC Scholarship Banquet. Both students are distinguished student leaders in our school with bright futures. Way to represent PHS!

The Lady Dragons beat Bridge Creek tonight to be named District Champions. Lady Dragons will be back to action on Thursday at Purcell with a 6pm tip off. Great job Lady Dragons and Coaches. Go Dragons!

First soccer match of Purcell history is under way.


Purcell Soccer starts tomorrow! We are hosting Noble and Ada in a Preseason Soccer Scrimmage. First matches start at 9 AM. All matches will be streamed on NFHS. Also attached is the season schedule. Go Dragons!



Basketball playoffs start tomorrow. Both our teams will play districts tomorrow night at Bridge Creek. Girls tip off at 6 and boys following at 730. Tickets for playoffs are $10 at the gate, and $7 through Go Fan. Full bracket can be found at OSSAA.com Go Dragons!


Spanish Club delivered snacks to our friends at Purcell Hospital for Valentines. We appreciate their service to our community. Spanish Club Officers: Nick Westmoreland, Adylee Jurado, Ellie Feroli, Payton Lawson, Logan Lovett, Jennifer Velasco, Araceli Aguinaga (not pictured).


Dragon Esports is gearing up for their spring schedule. We are excited about the growth of this program during its first year of existence. Coach Kelton Clary has done a great job leading this program along with the assistance of volunteer coach Bryce Tuck. We were fortunate to add additional expertise with our student teaching intern Conner Lemon. Conner is a student from OU and a member of OU Esports.


Congratulations Stefanie Renfro: PHS Staff of the Month.
Stefanie is an amazing educator who impacts students and staff in a positive manner on a daily basis. She is a mentor, leader, educator, and friend. Her leadership abilities are well known throughout our building and district. She is the chairperson of our Electives Department and a member of my permanent teacher leadership team. I've been fortunate as a building leader to have Stefanie's wisdom and advice available to me throughout my tenure as Principal. But don't take my work for it.
