Thank you to everyone who made our Basketball Homecoming such a great night. A special recognition to Kendra Dobbins and our junior parent volunteers for their hard work organizing After Prom. Purcell senior Parker Page recently received a nomination from Congressman Tom Cole to be admitted to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. Parker is an outstanding young man and leader in his school and community. He will serve his country with distinction. We are proud of Parker for this accomplishment.

2024 Fall Perfect Attendance. These students did not miss a day, for any reason, the entire semester! Good attendance is crucial for student success. Thank you parents for reinforcing this value at home.
One of the reasons we have such strong attendance is the emphasis our teachers place on building student relationships. Students are more likely to attend class regularly if a teacher has focused on strong teacher-student relationships. PHS teachers prioritize strong relationships with our students.
I would also like to thank and recognize the excellent work of our PHS attendance team: Aaron Dillard, Dean of Students and Candy Tuck, Attendance Secretary.

Congratulations to PHS Dragons as they defeat Verdigris 56-26 in the weather shortened Verdigris Tournament. Great job players and coaches!

The boys basketball team was not able to play games today, but that did not stop them from taking a team picture in the snow with their new uniforms, and also have the rare opportunity to throw snowballs at their head coach. The boys will be back in action tomorrow in Verdigris. They will play Kiefer at 9:30 AM and Verdigris at 4 PM. All games will be at the Verdigris Activity Center and streamed on hudl.
