It's game day for our Lady Dragons today as they host Sulphur for a district game tonight. The first pitch is at 5:00 pm, with JV following. The game will be streamed live via NFHS. GO DRAGONS!
Cross Country travels to Sulphur tomorrow. First race starts at 3 PM. The race will take place at the Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Our runners are putting in a lot of work this year, and it is paying off. They are starting the final stretch before playoffs. Go Dragons!

PHS Academic Team picked up 2 more wins last Thursday @ the meet in Chickasha. Parker Page was the top scorer. Freshmen Cole Guinn & Eli Gracey were key contributors in the lightning rounds. Purcell Academic Team will host the Conference Meet this Thursday @ 4PM

The Purcell library is hosting a Hispanic Heritage Month celebration on Thursday, Sept 19th. Purcell Public schools will attend to discuss EL services. PHS Spanish and Key Club students are volunteering with some fun activities for families.

Last week PHS senior FFA officers Hudson Andrews & Haley Kretchmar had an opportunity to go read and do a craft with Mrs. Frankenberg and Mrs. Nicklas’ classes at Purcell Elementary. This is a great example of how FFA programs provide important service learning opportunities for students.

PHS Technology Student Association (TSA) students and coaches Paul Wollenberg and April Trumbo were recognized at a recent Purcell School Board Meeting for their achievements at nationals this past summer.
Mandolin Keely, Addison Arnold, Greyson Lester, Shiv Patel, Owen Milner, Nick Westmorland, Jae Swanner, and Brecken Burson, current PHS students, placed at TSA nationals in either the high school or junior high division. Great work from this program.
24–25 PHS FCCLA officers traveled to Duncan and attended the FCCLA Lead Conference last Thur. Officers participated in workshops and collaborated with peers on projects that promote leadership and community service. Great job officers and sponsor Stefanie Renfro.

The Lady Dragons will honor their 5 seniors this Tuesday, 9/17 around 6:30, following the varsity game against Ada. As the 2023 Class 4A State Runner-Up team, these girls have had an amazing career. Come out and help us celebrate them next week. Go Dragons!
