Congratulations to Purcell Boys Track athletes who placed last Friday at the Pauls Valley Track Meet including Ronan Little who placed 1st in the Pole Vault. Both girls and boys teams are competing today at the Purcell Track Meet. Good luck to both teams!

Congratulations to the Lady Dragons for their success yesterday at the Pauls Valley Track Meet. Several athletes placed (see attached results) including Gracie Pruitt who placed 1st in the 100M. Great job Lady Dragons and coaches.

Congratulations Grace Smith and Coach Gowens for a successful day on the course yesterday. Grace placed 7th at the Dickson Invitational. Great job PHS Golf! We are looking forward to warmer golfing weather in the near future!


It was a fantastic day at the track today! Congratulations to our student athletes who represented our school so well. A huge thank you to the many people who helped run a well organized and very exciting meet today. Thank you HS Girls/Boys Track, Purcell Rotarians, and Dr. Mcadoo for timing our events. Special thanks to Greg and Tammy Dillard and Jerry and Tina Swayze for their organization of the running heats and all things in the press box. Thank you to Sarah Jones, David Sikes, Cara Simonton, and Cole Harwell who helped wherever they were needed. It took a village today and all of you were amazing! Great day to be a Dragon! Big win this morning for Dragons Baseball @ Sulphur Festival. They defeated the 11-2 Sulphur Bulldogs 4-2. Great job players and coaches! The Dragons move to 5-3 on the season. The great photos are from Stephanie Knowles from earlier game. Go Dragons!!!

I'm thrilled to announce Dalton Holder has been chosen by the Oklahoma Academic Coaches Association as one of the top 36 senior Oklahoma Academic Bowl All Staters. Dalton is a proven leader with a bright future. He has represented his school and community with distinction.

Today's district baseball game and slowpitch softball opener are cancelled due to weather (but we are thankful for the rain!) We will attempt to play a doubleheader baseball game tomorrow vs. CHA @ PHS if the field is playable.
