Proud of our Baseball Team. They were in a tight one-run game late with defending state champion and 14-1 Heritage Hall. Unfortunately we came up short but beyond excited about what's happening with our baseball program. Go Dragons! Thankful for Stephanie Knowles and her pics.

Congratulations to Coach Gowens and PHS Boys Golf. Finished 5th yesterday at the Conference Golf tournament. Juniors Brendan Bacon and Brody Galyean were low scorers for PHS. Expect to see this team continue to improve with lots of underclassmen.
Go Dragons!

This is really cool. Ms. Keen and our FFA program are doing some great things!
We currently have 3 bred heifers we are monitoring for class. Over the next two weeks in class, students will be making calving journals. They will be documenting pictures of the stages of parturition and making predictions on calving dates and the sex of the calves.
Join us in the vote!
There is a link below to vote on which heifers will have a boy or a girl. We will post the baby reveals as they are born! Stay tune this week and next for updates.

Today's scheduled baseball and softball games have been postponed. Baseball will play a doubleheader tomorrow @ Heritage Hall. Game 1 will begin @ 4:00. Also: there is no softball game tomorrow vs. Latta. That was a misprint. Thanks!

Click on link to access PHS Parent Newsletter for this week. Lots of info including end of year updates, ACT this week, safety reports, and tons of pics! Go Dragons!

Proud of PHS Academic Team. Couple of close losses today at the State tourney but competed well. Fresh: Parker Page & Hannah Whitaker. Sophs: Noah Gracey & Noria Stell. Junior: Mercer Martin. And a special thanks to Seniors: Hailey Carpenter, Cooper Hall, & capt. Dalton Holder

Dragons baseball remains undefeated in district and pick up 6th straight win with 7-2 win over CHA. Zach Idlett pitches a great complete game and Hayden Harp and Boston Knowles both homer. Dragons are playing some good baseball. Great job players and Coach Sharp and Coach Young!

Got Milk?
Highlight of week: visiting Erica Keen's livestock production class where they analyzed types of milk. Erica is such a talented teacher and finds creative ways to make learning experiences meaningful for kids. And the verdict was that they don't like almond milk!
