We didn’t get the result we hoped for last night but our football team and coaches fought hard the entire night. We are 2-2 heading into homecoming week with an important stretch of games ahead. We had a fun day of Friday festivities with cheer and band kicking off the day with a March through the junior high halls. Our cheerleaders again put on a great pep rally during the afternoon. Big thanks to our cheer sponsor Kerri Raper and to Coach Raper, Senior cheerleaders and Parker for emceeing the rally. Thank you to all who came and supported and a big thanks to Washington High School and Warriors for Freedom for honoring our veterans.
The Homecoming Parade route has been revised to accommodate the Pep Rally which will be held in the area west of McClain Bank (see map below). The Parade will begin at Lester Lane and Main St and proceed North on Main Street. The Homecoming Parade is next Friday, October 1st @ 1:30 PM.
Congratulations to the Purcell High School
Academic Team for having defeated Chickasha,
Lindsay, and Blanchard at Washington Thursday

The team is now undefeated after nine matches
