Thank you to our amazing PTO for providing coffee to teachers and staff that work our drop off lines upstairs and downstairs this morning! It was much appreciated! Thank you for all that you do to support our staff! Drop off duty doesn’t always come with nice weather and we are thankful for this warm treat! A big shout out to Starbucks for making the delicious coffee!❤️☕️ We are extra thankful to our teachers and staff that do this duty even on the not so nice days to keep our little Dragon safe in the mornings! You are the BEST!❤️🐲❤️🐲☕️

PES November Staff and Teacher of the Month: Brenna Collins, Reading Assistant and Carly Jenne, Kindergarten Teacher Read what their colleagues have to say about them: Staff of the Month: Brenna Collins I know I can always count on Brenna! She has helped me in my classroom many times and I have always felt at ease when I knew she was covering while I had to be gone! All the students love her! Brenna is always willing to step in and help out. In my own classroom she works hard to see that her reading groups are given every opportunity to reach their potential and does this with a positive attitude. I'm thankful to have her helping in my classroom but also here at the elementary. Teacher of the Month: Carly Jenne Carly always has a positive attitude and is encouraging to all. She loves her students and truly has a passion for teaching. She is so sweet and the kids absolutely love her! All of my students want to go back and give her hugs. Now that is the sign of a good teacher, one that they will never forget! Carly is an amazing teacher. She truly loves what she does and the littles she has in her room. She accommodates each student and helps them learn and grow in their own way. She is always smiling and a positive voice each day. You can tell that teaching is her calling. We are so thankful for each of these ladies and the impact they have on students daily! #DragonCARES

Look who made the nice list this year!! Pre-K was surprised today by a very merry guest! Santa even brought his reindeer in training, Randolph. He came bearing gifts too. The students all received books and candy canes. Thank you so much to Purcell Fire Department and Delta Head Start for helping make this possible!

What a wonderful job by Purcell Elementary Music Teacher, Mrs. Scott! We are thrilled to have her at PES as the new music teacher. The students LOVE music and it shows! She has done an amazing job inspiring, teaching, and practicing with our Second Grade Students to present their program, We Give Thanks, this evening! It was such a blessing to everyone! I heard so many compliments as parents and families were leaving. I'm still singing about leaves falling in my head! Wonderful job Mrs. Scott and Second Grade Students!🦃❤️🍁🍁🐲 Happy Thanksgiving!
