We hope everyone had an amazing spring break (it's not over yet!) We do have a busy activity week ahead as spring sports move into full swing with baseball, softball, track, golf, tennis, and soccer all on the schedule. Spring esports season resumes along with FFA and Rotary Speech Contests. Special note: PHS current freshmen, sophs, and juniors will select courses this Wednesday in Advisory for the 25-26 year. We will host a parent information night for current sophs and juniors (& parents) Monday night at the PHS Library @ 5:30.

Purcell Dragons Esports team had a mixed bag of results before spring break. They secured a 6-1 victory over the Chelsea Dragons in Super Smash Bros., in the battle of the Dragons. However, they had a tough loss in Mario Kart, falling 2-0 to the Eufaula Ironheads.

ROAD Week Activities continued today with the always popular Dodgeball Tournament! I'm very proud of our students for their hard work this week raising money in support of such an important cause. All funds raised this week will go towards supporting High School Counselor Melissa Feroli and Purcell Transportation director Janell Maral and their families during a time of need. ROAD Week concludes tomorrow with some beautiful weather and possibly some special guests in the Dunk Tank!

Purcell High School Concert Band received a Superior rating on their stage performance at the OSSAA District Contest today at Blanchard High School! This qualifies them for the OSSAA State Concert Band contest in April. We are incredibly proud of these talented students and directors David Hilger and Jacob Willing!

CALENDAR ALERT: ON-CAMPUS ACT PREP - 4/3/25 We will host an ACT Prep with PowerPrep on April 3, 2025. Purcell students have the opportunity to attend this valuable prep session for $20. The district will pay the remaining part. You must sign up on or before 3/21/25. The cost is $65 after that point. ALL PHS Juniors will take the ACT April 9th @ PHS. PHS Pickleball ROAD Week tournament was a huge success. Over 40 teams competed! I can see why this sport is so popular. Carli & Carter Thomas are our champions! And they eliminated the principal! Most importantly we raised money for a great cause.

Parent/Teacher Conferences today 3:30-7:00 PM . All parents please sign-in in the front office and limit conferences to 10 minutes max. Please note there will be a handful of unavailable teachers tonight and/or Thursday. It's unavoidable with our busy spring activity season.
