
There are busy weeks and then there is this week! We are thrilled to honor and showcase so many of our student and athlete successes this week: Both varsity bball teams ranked, State Champion honor band students @ SWOBDA, and our Academic Team @ the State Tournament. What a year!


Bonus Basketball this week with Varsity make-up games scheduled with Marlow on Monday Night 1/31. All 4 teams in action tomorrow night are ranked! Coming off road wins @ Pauls Valley Friday night, PHS girls are 10-5 and ranked #16. PHS boys are 12-3 and ranked #11. Go Dragons.


Congratulations Deanna McGee , PHS Alternative Education student, who recently passed her CNA Clinical Exam. This program has a long track record of helping students achieve high levels of success with a different path. Please see attachment for more info about Alt Ed.

Busy week of basketball ahead: Get out and support PHS! Our girls are currently 8-5 and ranked 12th in Class 3A. The boys are 9-3 and also ranked #12 in Class 3A.


Events like the Heart of Oklahoma Tournament don't happen without the hard work and planning of organizers. Sarah Jones, David Sikes, and Cara Simonton, PHS Athletics secretary, deserve recognition for their efforts. A special thanks as well to sponsors and volunteers.


The 50th Annual Heart of Oklahoma Tournament concludes in thrilling fashion. Two buzzer beaters on championship Saturday including the Dragon's own Nate Willis to knock off Blanchard for 3rd Place. Congrats to 2022 Champions; Boys: Douglass Trojans. Girls: Ada Cougars

Day 2 of the Heart of Oklahoma comes to an exciting finish. Another night of last second shots and intense play. Blanchard girls tie with a late three and beat Plainview to advance to finals. Douglass boys defeat PHS Dragons 44-38 in a hard-fought game. Updated brackets linked.
