🎓 College & Career Night is tomorrow at 6 PM in the high school commons. This is a must for juniors and seniors! Representatives from various colleges, MATC, and military branches will be there. Plus, Kirk Rushing will be on hand with key financial aid info.

This week, they visited Purcell Municipal Hospital and FlexWorx to learn about important real-world skills. At the hospital, they learned about the ER check-in process and even discovered the summer VolunTeen program. At FlexWorx, they got a personal tour from trainer Josh Eck and learned about gym memberships.

What a great start to the year for our outstanding Purcell FFA program! 🥳 Our students and their sponsor, Erica Keen, have been working hard all year, and their efforts are paying off.
We had 37 students compete at the Oklahoma State Fair Livestock Judging Contest, which was a record-setting event with over 1,900 participants! We're so proud of all of our students, especially those who competed for the first time. 💙💛

Coach Matt Lohn gave us a perfect throwback to the early 2000s, and Coach Cole Sharp channeled the 90s with some seriously retro baggy and cargo shorts. As for Coach Ethan Scott... well, we're not sure if he was in costume or just dressing for a regular Thursday! 😉

What a busy few weeks for our Purcell FFA members! They've been incredibly active, showcasing their hard work and dedication.
Our FFA Officer Team kicked things off at the Central Area Chapter Officer Leadership Training (COLT) Conference earlier this month, building valuable leadership skills. Four of our members also participated in the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Capitol Camp, where they gained firsthand experience in the legislative process by debating bills in both the House and Senate.
The McClain County Fair was a huge success for the chapter. Forty members competed in livestock and horse judging contests, and our students submitted an amazing 77 indoor exhibits. The week was capped off with a successful livestock show.
It's truly amazing to see how hard these students and their sponsor, Erica Keen, work to represent Purcell High School. Their commitment to the future of agriculture is clear. Great job, Dragons FFA! 🐉
