We are super excited to have Sam Schafer assisting our custodial staff at the Elementary! She works very well with Sandra Hernandez and Maria Rangel and the 3 of them are making the Elementary SHINE! ✨❤️🐲 We are thankful for our PHS Transitions program led by Jenny Allen-Price at PHS! This is such an important piece for students and we are thankful to be apart of this transition. Way to go Sam! PES August Staff and Teacher of the Month are Reading Team Assistant, Barbara Smith and 1st grade teacher, Christie Bradley! 🐲❤️ Read what their colleagues have to say about them: Barbara is as if she can hear the words, "I need ...", from a mile away and POOF! She appears to help no matter the task. She is amazing! She goes above and beyond to make teachers feel supported and makes lasting relationships with kiddos. She really loves what she does and it shows! Christie is a joy to have on our 1st grade team this year! She always has an awesome attitude and works well with her fellow teachers and students! We are very lucky to have her in 1st grade! PES sure is lucky to have both of these amazing ladies on our team! Way to go! 🎉🙌🏼❤️🐲#DragonCARES

Our first grade had the pleasure of being invited to Kid's Day at the McClain County Fair today! It was a real treat learning from the different booths set up to host local first grade students. We rode the bus, ate a hot dog lunch, and spent time learning about agriculture, farming, animals, etc! 🌱🌾🐓🐄🐎🦃🐖🌻🥖🥛🥩🌽

Such a great morning to read an accurate Ag Book in the Classroom! Senator Jessica Garvin visited us this morning and read to each PreK Class. She read, Farm Boots, by Lisl H. Detlefsen.
