Purcell Public School is contracted with Keystone for our food service. Keystone is honoring National School Breakfast Week. They conducted a coloring contest. The winner is First Grader, Nicole Ramos Jaquez! Nice job!
Don't forget Missoula Children's Theatre residency week is the week right after Spring Break, March 24th-29th. Auditions will be held Monday, March 24th from 3:30-5:30pm. Auditions are open to all students Kindergarten-12th grade. Please see additional information below.

There has been a LOT of running going on at Purcell Elementary School. The mile club just keeps growing and growing. We now also have students in the 5 mile club! The mile clubs are an optional activity that students can participate in during PE in which they run laps around the gym to reach a mile. For book fair you can purchase gift cards online or at the book fair for your students or your students teacher. Teachers love to be able to choose books for their classrooms.
Student-Led Conferences are this week Tuesday and Thursday 3:30-7:00 at PES. Our students are so excited to show you all they've learned! ❤️🐲📚🍪 Kona Ice will be on site for a sweet treat! Our Pre-K had a special visitor this morning! We got to meet the famous Bree from Purcell Animal Shelter. If you don't follow their page, I encourage you to go find Bree's story. She has come such a long way under some great care. We were her first social experience since being at the shelter. Our students were so respectful and did a fantastic job being quiet and calm while she was in our rooms. This was a wonderful way to wrap up our unit on pets and end our drive for the shelter. Thank you to all who donated items. The shelter was so appreciative to have a truck load to take back. #DragonCares 🐉❤️🐉
What a special night for our 1st Graders presenting our Winter Celebration with a wonderful music program led by Mrs. Scott. A special thank you to Mrs. Scott for her hard work with our students. They did an amazing job tonight!

A huge THANK YOU to Custom Dental of Purcell for teaching our Pre-K students all about dental health! We loved having Timmy the Tooth and Caitlynne Weatherly visit and share the importance of brushing, flossing, and keeping our smiles bright. Please join us in honoring these special ladies; Mrs. Marion, Mrs. Johnston, and Mrs. Smith! These three are a blessing to many students, staff, and families!
Mrs. Marion has been serving students in education for the past 11 years. She loves teaching students! Her favorite memory as a student was when she was in upper elementary school, she loved being book buddies with the Kindergarteners and going to their class to read to them. One thing she can't live without is caffeine. She enjoys spending time with her family and being present, slowing down, and enjoying what's happening in the here and now.
Mrs. Johnston has been serving students for the past 4 years. She loves helping students be successful each day! Her favorite memory as a student was going to P.E. She can't live without her family and loves spending time with them!
Mrs. Smith has been serving students for the past 15 years. She loves helping students learn sounds and helping them with speech! Her favorite memory as a student was when they had "Read-ins at school. She loves her family and enjoys spending time with them!
We are blessed to have them all at PES and appreciate all they do to make students shine!
